I have a Coby CAM3001 and it is not staying on when power up. It boots, Read Media..., then displays a sceen with the code 2163SAPSGSN015 and switches off. I have changed the batteries but the same happens. Is there any suggestions to solve this? Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem I bought 3 of them for my kids for christmas and all 3 are doing the same thing. And it gives the same code .. Any ideas how to fix it???

For the MP610, to get Coby Media Manager back, goto:
1) cobyusa.com in internet explorer
2) select Support in the page top
3) select Coby Media Manager Fix for MP822:
The fix is the complete program actually, for installation of
Coby Media Manager.
Read the page: select and install the matching file for your operating system.
Run Coby Media Manager
In the page top select Tools > Device Manager...
Select the MP-610 (AC) or (AL) version from the devices list
Add >>
OK to setup your device
note
AC and AL version works with different video files
AMV and MTV
Run Coby Media Manager.
In the Coby Media Manager select in the top page Tools > Device manager...
Next click the MP-822, click Add and click OK to save this setup.
Having installed the Coby Media Manager (fix) software, transfers should be going correctly.
To fix this problem I found a fix at the coby website. I downloaded this zip file. Unzipped it and did a drag and drop of the font file onto my coby when it was plugged into my usb port. Now I can read my menus again. Yippee!!
