Question about HP Pavilion DV5234US Notebook Laptop
Hi, I have had my computer for a while now and it is running on vista home premium. I had itunes when I first bought the computer but now quick time and itunes will not work. When I download them it says I have completed the download but when I go to open the programs it says itunes/quick time have stopped working and then it shows this:
Download updates for iTunes This problem was caused by iTunes, which was created by Apple Inc..
A newer version of this software is available for download that addresses this problem. Apple Inc. recommends updating to take advantage of security and stability improvements.
Go online to the following website to update iTunes:
I went online and did this and updated my itunes and my quick time and it is still giving me the same message. Is there anything else I can do? I haven't been able to use my ipod on my computer for almost a year now.
Anything will help!
Uninstall both itunes and quick time, do a registry clean, reboot the machine and reinstall itunes & quick time in XP service pack 2 mode, vista still has compatibility issues so this option might not work
