Was laying down and my phone dropped out of my pocket about 4 inches onto the cement. Now the phone turns on(I can feel it vibrate) but the screen won't turn on. Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Ditto, I CAN see the screen turn "grey" when I turn it on though, and for a while after I dropped it I COULD see the screen when I pulled out the keyboard. Now that doesn't work anymore either, just grey.

Samsung Galaxy S Stratosphere SCH-I405 Screen Issue

the flexes probably had been damaged by now, stratosphere is not that tough when it comes to water, unlike galaxy s3, you need a technician now for your phone to work, or better yet, look for the nearest samsung service center and bring your phone there.

I had this same problem, there is a thin line of wires connecting the bottom half and top half of the sliders, after awhile it just plain wears out and will generally crack, without these wire anything on the front of your phone will no longer work. The screen is black but stil lights up a little bit and occasionally the buttons light up but its pretty much toast I'm sorry to say. I upgraded to a HTC Touch Pro 2 and am happier than ever!

Recent phones dont agree with water to much, but what you can do is pull it apart and spray it all with a electric cleaner, but if you have insurance on your phone that would be the best way to replace it, warranty wont cover it. you could try to hard reset it but most likely wont work still

Tungsten E2 Keyboard Doesn't Work

One way around this problem is to touch the "DataVis Sheet To Go" (top left corner in black) icon and from there go to "Edit" and then "Keyboard".

Blackberry RIM went Black!!!???!

I think the reset button is under the battery cover - You may need a paperclip to reset.

Before you do the hard reset have you tried a soft reset -
ALT+RIGHT SHIFT(CAP)+DELETE keys
