My abs light comes on and off, causing my lights to flicker a little bit and my radio to turn on and off? What is this about? Also how fast is the recommended speed while using the 4wd?

Hopefully you have had this issue sorted by now going by the date it was posted. However as this post has not been removed, I will give a couple of possible solutions if they do not work then advise taking it to a dealer. ABS faults on this vehicle are normally caused by front wheel sensors. The wires become brittle at the sensor side and with the front wheels being constantly turned the wires brake then when you turn it again it makes contact and momentarily comes good again. Now on saying this it would be odd for it to affect the radio or dash lights. There could be two faults the second issue I would be checking the main battery earth lead and its connections to chassis. Even changing this cable with a new one. Also check tightness of positive lead connections under the red plastic cover on the positive terminal of the battery. As I mentioned if this does not rectify the problems a dealer will need to put a diagnostic computer on the car and see what fault codes come up. Be CAREFULL when checking terminals that when touching battery positive terminal with a spanner you DO NOT allow the other end of spanner to touch anything that goes to ground/earth.(negative terminal) This may cause more damage. Good luck.
Cud..but a low fluid level etc..trans r complex..hav it test drivn. Brake fluid may b dirty. Du a complete inspect of all systems in vehicle..purchase a shopbook
ABS light always on means your ABS is not working properly.Radio flickering : you need to check and cover all ***** electric wiring property by electric tape.Noise in turn signal : please on your car hazard and check all integrator working fine, if not replace fuse bulbs, the problem will be fixed.Hazard Button = (http://www.2carpros.com/images/articles/electrical/lights/emergency_flasher/emergency_flasher.jpg)
If you start the vehicle and the ABS light never goes out it is failing its self check test. Typically a bad wheel speed sensor will cause this.
If the light comes on when you start it, goes out shortly after, but comes on after driving for a little bit than the problem may be a little bigger. Wheel speed sensors could still be the problem but you could also have issues with wheel bearings, exciter rings, solenoids, or modules.
The best thing to do is have the ABS module scanned for codes. This will narrow down the possibilities significantly. Post the codes here and we'll be more than happy to guide you to the next step.
Sounds like a wiring issue, it's actually hard to diagnose without being there, with that many things happening all at once I'd guess a possible problem with the underhood relay/fuse box. On older vans they sometimes short out inside. To be sure you might want to go to your dealer, for about an hours labour they should be able to diagnose it properly. They will only go as far as you tell them to.
If I can be of any more help please ask..
Good Luck.
