I just finished up fixing the code problem on my 96 accord. It may be similar enough to match your problem. If you gently remove your center console ash tray (pull it out and depress the sides.. wiggle it a bit and it should pop right out), on the bottom you'll find to series of numbers. the 5 digit one worked for me! Do follow the directions if you entered too many bad codes.
