Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.
First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.
If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

That is usually caused by the paper feed rollers being cover with paper dust. Take a clean cotton pad and alcohol and clean the rollers :turninig each roller as you clean it. if it has a rear dor, open it to get better access to the rollers.

hve u tried removing the paper jam from a proper place.hp has provided a door behind the printer to clear paper jam.open that door n check out 4 any paper part left out in it.wish u success
Your paper is with excess of moisture. Try to keep the paper in a peper dryer, and do not use to leave the sheets not used in the printer, keep them in a dryer, or a dry place.
ur printer paper feeder gears r jammed or misaligned. kindly get ur printer serviced from a good technician.dont worry its a normal problem.wish u success
