Whirlpool awm 8000 washer leaking from front door.

    It didn't require replacement. I had to reseat it. Pulled off the retaining ring and realigned it to the frame; then re-installed the ring. No more leak.

The rubber door seal needs replacing.you can get them from appliance repair shops easily.

If you are talking about the drain pump strainer, you need to remove the lower front panel. should be 3 screws on the bottom facing forward. Once you have that off, the pump strainer is almost in the center, facing you. unscrew it counterclockwise to remove.

It's either a perished door seal/bellow or perished pipe work most likey. Could even be a leak from the dispenser drawer

Yes,it is called a bellow.If the tear is small enough and just on the front rim of the seal try gluing it with super glue,it will get you by till you can get it replaced.
