Try Reseating the RAM/ try with another working RAM. Before this remove all peripherals like HDD, CD-ROMs, Floppy Drives. Check with another Power Supply,

I have msi 7528 mother board .......but display can,t show ....whats the problem

Hello here is the mainboards homepage:

http://www.msi.com/product/mb/G31M3-F.html#/?div=Driver&os=All

The manual:

http://www.msi.com/product/mb/G31M3-F.html#/?div=Manual

No display is often caused by a wrong ram module.

I mean the mhz is wrong.

Your mainboard uses DDR2 667/800 if a higher mhz ram is inserted this can cause no display.
If the cpu fan is running, its the ram module that causes this issue.

But of course it could also be the power supply, or a bad graphic card.

Try to boot up with only one module, and make sure the module is correctly inserted in the slot.

Good luck

Hello hare is the homepage:

http://www.msi.com/product/mb/845GVM-V.html#/?div=Manual

Try also to renew the power supply.

Check also this site:

The jpw1 is the main power connection for power to the cpu:
So you probably have a bad power supply.

Msi g41m-p26 won start (no power)

The most likely solution is to replace any Capacitors that have blown in the onboard power circuit. Look for a Capacitor that has got a very bulging top in the region of the power connector.

Hello. My Maxdata with the RC 410M is almost dead. Both power supply fan and processor fans are working but that's it, nothing else will work. It wont even boot from the recovery disk that is now stuck in...

sounds like your board is not getting enough power to get everything up and running. Attempt changing the Power supply with another and try, if not, then your board probably had gone bad

Power light goes out but power remains thru the m-board fan runs

you need to replace the power supply. The fan sound is the fan for the power supply and not the computer. for cheap parts or used goto headgap's. They know what you need and probably even help you replace it yourself.

Hello tccat1,

Definitley sounds like a bad motherboard, however, try removing the memory and using a different stick if you have some. Maybe 512 see if you can at least get it to post.

EMachine T3406 wont boot

is there a post beep when the pc is switched on. check the memory if it is a beep beep beep sound , also disconect the hard drive, dvd drive, floppy, and any usb devices and see if it boots up. if that fails it does seem like the mother board, also check the cpu fan has it stoped. also find out the power switch conector on the mother board, from the base unit switch to the mother board. also chech the power connector from the power supply to the mother board , on newer boards there are two that go to the mother board its self , a big one and a very small one .

That mother board want reboot

lets say it like this...you have assambled..on  table...motherboard..,processor,memory hard drive...all conected to teh monitor (you have video on  board) and to the power suply.
If you get the power in a board with  a damaged processor...the board receive energy and ,depending of the problems of the processor..youl see a blu screen on monitor..or just hear some pcspeaker specific sounds..ussualy the msi mainboards come with a special feature called D bracket..it has some leds on it and indicates your problems...
however..if you have other problems than blue screen or sounds..and the board is totally silent..well it is a board fault...and here..the reasons of malfunctioning are a lot..
