Saeco pump issue - Saeco Vienna SuperAutomatica Coffee Maker/Espresso Machine

    My Saeco Vienna is about 4 years old. It recently stopped pumping water or making steam. When used, it grinds the beans, makes a little noise, but no water comes out. I have tried repriming the machine and cleaning it but to no avail.

    I Have had my Saeco Vienna for 5 years, I recently sent it out for service for a low water pressure problem. I have used it twice since the service and now I have no water being pumped. The water leaks through to the tray and garbage bin.

Thank you for your reply.
Finally I opened the machine and found out that the one of the tube got stuck.

issue is now solved....

Sounds like you have an issue with the brew drive motor. Could be the wire going to the motor or the motor itself.

Hi Saeco uses 2 different pumps in their machines. The most common is the Ulka EX5, and the other is the Ulka EAX5 The only difference is the wattage. EX5 is 41w and the EAX5 is 52w. Need to know what wattage your pump is.

Limited water output (saeco vienna superautomatica model year 04)
Could be 3 things. Pump, flow meter, or clogged boiler. Pump is a standard ulka pump, flow meters are bought only from saeco as well as boilers. If i had to guess.... If its a vienna black than i'd point to the flowmeter. If you get pressurized water out of the steam wand than its either the flow meter or the boiler. Pointing more towards the flow meter (u shaped white plastic part with in and out tubes.
