When the Mini Dv tape is played back in another camcorder, the blockiness is still there..I have tried other new tapes, and get the same result. The CCD seems to be great..I get a nice sharp picture on the viewfinder AND the LCD screen....

This is a continuation of the original message..it did NOT all show up here. The camera records a picture which is full of choppy pixelation and little blocks. I already ran a cleaning tape thru, but that did NOT help. I will gladly pay for the Premium Assistance, but is that useful at all in my case? Do the EXPERTS also do repairs?
