microphone of our ew100 failed due to stress at plug head. My attempt at repair has not worked. The very fine copper line, as well as the shielded core may have defeated my attempt. Sennheiser will no longer services G1 product, and only suggests upgrading to G2. This system worked perfectly for years, and I do not want to have to replace anything due to a simple wiring/connection issue.
