You need to go to the settings section on the menu. Go to the selected profile. Go to the personalise option. Go to keypad volume and adjust it.

This means you have activated the keypad sound, its very simple to deactivate, just go to settings-> tone settings, there you will get the option like "keypad tones" or similar to this.. just select that and make it "off"..

How doI get my message alert tone to repeat every 2 mins.

press menu key, then settings, phone profiles ( choose the profile that you are currently using by pressing the right arrow key. on the current screen you will see a drop down... press the drop down key and click the new message. go to message alert repetition and choose Periodic anddont forget to save the settings. Now your message tone will alert every 2 mins until you read it.

How to change the msg tone in samsung corby plus

try these steps..
1. press menu
2. select settings
3. select phone profiles
4. under phone profiles, select the options either normal, silent, it's up to you and press the double arrow >>
5. beside normal profiles, you will see a drop down box, press it and it will give you the list of options which are incoming call, new messages, phone sounds..
6. select new messages
7. scroll down and select message alert tone
8. press the box for your message alert tone, to browse your files from your phone or from your memory card and select your favorite mp3 tones press sounds and press the arrow on the top bar (arrow pointing to the top, means up to one level or go back to folder).
9. select the folder where you stored your tones and select the tones and press save.
10.once saved, it will return to profile menu, press save again, or if you still want to configure it up to, after configuration press save and exit the setup.
11. now try to send a test message to your own phone number by then you will hear your message tone.

Samsung SGH D900I- cannot turnoff keypad sound

D900 FAQ – How do I disable or mute the keypad tone on my SGH-D900? admin March 6, 2009 --> Note: In order to disable the keypad tone, the Dialing Display Font Type must first be set to “Normal”
To change the dialing display font type follow the steps below:
  1. From the standby screen, press the left soft key for Menu
  2. Select Settings (9)
  3. Select Display Settings (3)
  4. Select Dialing Display (6)
  5. Select Font Type (1)
  6. Highlight either Normal or Theme, using the navigation keys
  7. Press the left soft key to Save the Dialing Display Font Type setting
To turn off the keypad tone follow the steps below:
  1. From the standby screen, press the left soft key for Menu
  2. Select Settings (9)
  3. Select Sound Settings (4)
  4. Select Keypad Tone (2)
  5. Highlight Off, using the up navigation key
  6. Press the left soft key to Save the Keypad Tone setting

Key tone volume

In Idle mode, press [Volume] to adjust the key tone volume.

You cannot adjust the key tone volume in any other way.....

Sound Settings:

Idle screen
Menu Soft Key
Select Settings soft key
Press Down Key

Select profiles
(change whatever profile you want to use)

Options, Edit (left soft key)
Press Over to you get to the Phone Icon...
Keypad Tone
Press Center Key (att key, or cingular key in ther middle)
Press Beep, Clean, or Mute....

Can't switch off annoying key pad music tone

use volume key on left hand side when phone is open and display will gradually reduce until an X is displayed.

Keypad tone

You need to change the display, change the display so that handwriting is NOT selected and then you can change the keypad tone.

How to swich off sound when

side of the phone is a volume key when first open phone or even closed press the down arrow key on the side of the phone will turn down the phone press enough times & will put phone to vibrate.
