Yes Identical problem that I am having. For about the last 3 mos or so the bottom section of the screen would pulsate and you couldn't really read it then about a week ago the bottom section went all white - now my whole screen is white - you can play music but no clue where your at in the playlist or move to any other play list.................. It sounds like this is a pretty common issue however I have not yet seen a solution to this problem. You hate to discard a perfectly good ipod just because the screen when white.....................help

No sound from my Pure-Fi Express plus into my 4th gen Nan Ipod

Hi, while your pure express plus you just purchased is not playing out any sound is because, the speaker that enable you to play the sound when you play music through the ipod is faulty and it needs to be replaced with another one for it to function properly again.

After changing the speaker that is faulty with a new speaker, you can now start enjoying the music again through the internal speaker.

Take care.

My ipod has froze on connected eject before disconnecting

this is easy
press and hold center, and menu button - this resets the ipod firmware (holding play to turn the iPod "off" only puts it to sleep)

Ipod won't turn on

it's a broken battery, your dock station probably charges through the firewire port and is strong enough to power up the ipod without a charged battery, the USB port alone isn't. if you're tech savy or have a tech savy friend you can use a ipod repair guide that will show you how to replace the battery step by step, or you can go to the ipod repair nyc.

IPod not working in my music dock

Hi Natalie
Sounds like you're having logic board troubles. You need to take it to an ipod repair specialist to take a look at it. Sorry to bring the bad news. Chances are it's not a simple repair and will need a new logic board and they're not cheap:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Apple-iPod-Nano-3rd-Gen-Logic-Main-Board-Motherboad-4GB_W0QQitemZ110290080297QQcmdZViewItemQQptZOther_MP3_Players?hash=item110290080297&_trksid=p3286.m63.l1177

If it's still less than a year old take it back to an apple store asap for a free replacement.

All the best

Docking station problems

I have the same problem. The screen is frozen ? I put my ipod on and press play and it freezes. I found the solution though. Let it go dead and then hold the play button. Its a long process but it plays just fine on my docking station after that. If it happens again then you may have to repeat the same process.

Ipod nano 8gb Mp3

Hi there,

It might be possible the you left your iPod playing overnight when you stopped using it. The batteries might be drained already and will need some time in the dock for it to be charged for the batteries to warm up and start charging again. Please ensure that the connections are not loose also.
