Question about Lands Phones
I have a Nokia 3230 phone purchased for Rs.14600 2 years back. It had display problem where alphabets like 'y, g, p, q' use to get cut from bottom side. Other then this problem the phone was working fine. I am working in an Oil Terminal where we have a regular vendor who supplies us lots of office items including spares for our maintenance officer. He told me that he has couple of known persons who repair cellphones. He took my cellphone to get the fault rectified and then returned it the next day saying that both guys say my phone cant be repaired. The phone which was in working condition except for cutting of alphabets had completely stopped working.
Thereafter I gave the phone to Nokia Care Centre, Chembur. They kept the phone for more then one month and gave back saying it cant be repaired. It was not told why it cant be repaired, so finally I took it to another cell repairer to find out what was wrong, why my cell can't be repaired, after opening & reviewing the phone, he told me that the display strip of my cell has been removed and the phone cannot be repaired until another display strip is put inside the phone. I got fed up and since the past 10 months the cell is lying in my office drawer.
I want to see expert advice to find out if my phone can get repaired, if yes where can I get it repaired? Like other spares of a cellphone why display strips are not available as spares? Kindly suggest if my technical problem can be rectified and my cell will start working again. You can mail me at email@example.com
