Small print myprinter will only print everything very small ,has only just behaved like this all of a sudden

The problem is, the DOS program tries to print to LPT1, which is your parallel port. We need to redirect this to your USB Port. First, you have to set up printer sharing: Go to Control Panel | Printers | Your printer and share the printer. Assuming that you share it with the share name "MYPRINTER" and the computer is called "MYCOMPUTER", then type go to Start | Run and type in: NET USE LPT1: \\MYCOMPUTER\MYPRINTER /PERSISTENT:YES That should do the trick, unless there's a driver problem, which is unlikely for a dot matrix printer. If that doesn't work, let me know and I can troubleshoot further.

Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent inkdrying out in the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages,then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer thanreplace the print head.

Click Classic View
Click Printers
Right-mouse-click on your printer, and choose "printing preferences" or "properties".
There may be an option to control how "light" or "dark" the printing will be, i.e., use "less" or "more" ink per page.

Also, click "print test page", to ensure that the test-page has all 3 "primary" colours.

Also, click "clean ink cartridges", to try to repair any blockages inside the ink-cartridge.

Try placing you cursor on the text that you would like to print, hold the control key down then tap the PLUS key on the numerical pad a few times.
This should make your fonts larger so that they may print normally.

Assuming the printer can understand DOS coded printouts (which most should be able to), you can do it like this: Go to Control Panel | Printers | ML 2010 and share the printer. Then go to a command prompt Start | Run | type cmd Assuming that you share it with the share name "MYPRINTER" and the computer is called "MYCOMPUTER", then type NET USE LPT2: \\MYCOMPUTER\MYPRINTER /PERSISTENT:YES at a command prompt. Now you can print to LPT2: and the output will go to the USB-connected printer. To find your computer name, right click on the My Computer icon (either on your desktop or the start menu) and choose properties. The window that opens will have a Computer Name tab.
