Not much data provided to assist, generally you will see a small hole in the faceplate, insert a paperclip or small wiring until it clicks the release tray.

Hopw do I open a CD Drawer that is jammed without damaging it.

There is a small pin like rod usually provided whenever you buy these things. A small hole just under the cd tray where you insert this pin and it will open the cd tray. If you don't have it try a paperclip. Hope it works, goodluck!

CD drawer will not open. Have tried unplugging but did not work

Possible failure of the drivve unit or the loading mechanism of the CD unit. It can also be due to failure of the belt in the drive.
Itt is important that the CD unit is opened to check on the mechanism to see if there is a jamming of the drive, a failure of the motor or loading motor drive IC.

CD jammed inside player

Remover the player's cover. That will give you access to the player's internals and therefore also the CDs. That is the only way to go about a problem like the one you are facing.

Disconnect the player from the mains supply before doing this.

Good luck.

Cannot get the cd to eject the disc

in under or below the cd tray is a small hole, a paper clip straightened out can be inserted to release the latches and draw out the tray, many times it is just stuck, less often it is damaged, and will jam again

6 CD PLAYER FORD EXPLORER

usually these are not an economical repair, you either have a mechanical jam in the cd transport mechanism or you have a servo motor problem. you may be able to find a used working unit cheper then repairing you unit also when a repair is done on these changers they have a high repeat failure rate. If a local service center could just remove the jammed cd's and let it reset itself then try it again and see if it fails right away or works correctly, then you may have an idea on which way to procede
