Fast and delicate flashing (by 6 users)

my dishwasher starts but after 30 seconds it stops and the fast and delicate lights flash and then starts to drain the water out. can you help

I have the same problem.

We prees the start buton, press the programme set button to normal, the wash light comes on (6hr). 20 seconds later the fast and delicate green light comes on and starts to flash, the cycle starts and then stops, you can hear a wurrying noise then stops. any ideas.

I also have the same problem, my machine is exactly 18 months old! It starts up then stops after 1 minute and drains itself. Then the fast and delicate light is comes on and flashes continuesly, a friend told me it is the heating element!!

prewash starts then clicks off to fast and delicate lights flashing and pumps out the water unable to continue with program

Yes my machine has fast and delicate flashing, it was intermittent for about 6 months but is now a hard fault.

Your control panel is bad.My advice is use your warranty if you have it .If you don't ,toss this machine out,there should have been a re-call on this .You are one of many many that are having to deal with a problem that the manufacturer should be liable for. Dont't let GE (hotpoint) go not knowing that your D/W is broken ,look for a class action law suit to be in the making,which is not enough to correct the problems at hand .I don't advise repairing this unless there is a modified part to replace the defective one. Again I'm with you on this ,and sorry for all the consumers that are ripped off by manufacturers (in my eyes) . Please rate this !
