No lights,no clock no functions. Power to the unit is good. Any suggestions?

The likely cause for your radio not functioning is a blown fuse on the power supply circuit board. Unless you are able to take the clock apart and solder a new fuse to the board, your best option is to purchase another radio. If this clock radio is a wall plug-in, the fuse may have been blown during a thunder storm.

No ac power

Sounds like you need a new AC adapter? Contact the manufacturer or look at the model number of the AC adapter and search the internet. Otherwise you could try mouser.com or some other site that sells adapters and make sure you have the correct input and output voltages(also correct AC or DC output) current rating equal to or greater than the original. Finally the plug needs to be the correct size, 2.1mm, 2.5mm, etc.

Bose will not release their schematics or parts lists, effectively giving them a monopoly on repair of these sets. There is, however, a line fuse on a circuit board inside the radio. CAUTION: disconnect the set from its power source before you open it up or start poking around inside it. If you're lucky, all you will need is a simple fuse replacement. The sets are, however, notorious for "blowing" power transformers. If the fuse is not the problem, you will likely need to send the set to Bose for repair. On their web site, www.bose.com, they offer to repair most Wave sets for $100 or give $200 credit towards the purchase of a new Wave. Before you spend the big bucks though, you might want to check out the new HD radios. Better sound and MUCH lower prices than the Bose.

Memorex mc 7101 power cord

You need to purchase a multi connector power supply that is capable of 6 volt dc out put. The jack is "center positive". Most any of these aftermarket power supplies will have the correct jack with them.

Good Luck,
BB
