Question about Palm TX Handheld
My TX crashed yesterday. I went to Hotsync and it took an unusually long time and whe I went to my palm it was newly configed and I lost most calander to back Oct 07. I did some moving around on my applications on the Palm then synced a couple of more times and it the changes I made on the palm were not updated. Went to tech and I was told to hard set. I tried a few times with holding power button down and soft booting. To no aval. A while back I had lost my regular power button so I had one beamed to me by my Doctor who had the same palm tx and power problem I had. I set my power botton on the right front button and had no problems.
So I went to application and opened power button and it had the hard set option. So I did.
Tried to Hot Sync no luck. Went and downloaded a a hotsync program. came up with error 273HotsyncWizard.exe. Tried to sync again no luck. Went to devices and USB port came up Unknown. Troubleshot that no luck., changed ports and things went crazy beeping and blinking. Can't hard set because the powerbutton was deleted - should have copied to disk before.
Now Hotsync Mangaer will not open, checked properties and got the right setttings had to go to Windows 2000 yet I have XP.Now when I plug the USB in the computer beeps and devices blinks. Cleaned contacts no luck. Same symtoms
PLEASE anyone..have a solution short of buying anonter tx..this TX is my second brain. Have back up dating back to 2003....
