Application software tried to
perform an illegal printer
function or damaged
memory is detected on the
controller board. If the
message appears at powerup,
replace the controller
board. Record the message
and return it with defective
board.

I have all parts in stock refurbished with a 30/day warranty this would be a preflahsed CMX board, all I would need is a configuration printout (old one if you got if not we can I can figure out what you had). Security code violtion eorror of printronix p5005b line matrix printer

You have probably tried to reflash the printer with a firmware level that the printer does not support for that Security PAL. Printronix requires a specific Security PAL to 'unlock' the firmware so you can use the printer. I would get the original firmware for the printer or purchase the upgrade if you are trying to get some specific option to work.
