First .jar is a file extension so you won't need to do anything special for downloading but the file sits so when download JAVA based games the file is there to basically run those games for you. So there isn't anything needed to "fix" the problem for your Dell Aero.
where did you save your applications? you may have saved it on your memory card, if the applications are saved on your memory card, the files may have been deleted or corrupted. or if the applications are saved on your phone memory, then it may have been deleted or corrupted.
regarding your second inquiry, you may not have enough memory left, try to delete some apps, try to turn off and on your phone, remove battery and sim card. wait for a few seconds before you turn it on. then try to access some applications.
i have most simpler solution. 1. in ur PC, open a new notepad file. (anyname.txt) 2. write <html><body><a href="yourApplicationName.jar">install yourApplicationName.jar</a></body></html> 3. save it and close the file. change file extension to .html 4. transfer this file to ur Corby along with the Jar & Jad files of ur application 6. open this file to run the application and click the link displayed 7. enjoy ur application
I have transferred my Jar/jad file from my pc to nokia 6230i through bluetooth or memory card. It got saved
in Gallery menu.I tried saving in game applications folder but it doesn't. When I try to open the
jar/jad file it shows "file format not supported".Could anyone guide me how to open the file. I am
using Bluetooth USB.

Your can copy the saved game file in the saved games folder of SIMS to another location so your kid need not repeat her game. Then just re-install the SIMS application and copy back the saved game file to the saved game folder of SIMS.
