Re: no print catridge error
Hi, is the cartridge NON genuine. If so, it may be damaged in such a way that the printer is not recognising the cartridge. Try putting your old cartridge back in and if the problem goes away then the problem is the cartridge and not the printer

Are you using a factory new ink cartridge? Please consider the following: If you are using a refilled or third party cartridge that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges. They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead. If you are using factory new cartridges, then please call the manufacturers Technical Support for assistance with the warranty on the cartridges Don
please check the position of the catridges installed. it should be in a correct position. or you might have replaced the catridges in a wrong slot. if it does not work out then either connect your printer to different computer for printing or uninstall the software from your computer, then again reinstall the software.
Error 1203 is a very interesting error code. Here is what I found out about error 1203
Error 1203 is a very interesting cartridge error. It means your catridges overflow even from brand new catridges after a several prints or right after you refilled the catridges. Check to see if ink are smeared on the holder where the contact panel with the cartridge
Solution: I use the klennex with a few drops of water to dampen and clean off those contact on the holder and my printer work again. Then before you print anything, you should run aligned the catridges a couple times then run clean catridges a couple times. Print the test page to see how it's look and way you go. Be sure not to leave any debris of klennex on those holder contact panel.
This is deffinately due to catridge circuit problem.Canon suggest that we have to replace emptied catridges with new genuine canon catridge they dont suggest refilling and also not give any support for refilling catridges. So you can replace catridge with new one.
This Happens due to weakining of catridge circuit portion or may long period printer not in use.
If you not want to replace catridges i will give you the possible hints it may fix refilled catridges.
1.Clean the catridge circuit portion with soft cloth, care must be taken that there is no smudge or ink traces on catridge circuit.
2.Clean the ciruit of printer catridge placing box present inside the printer .wipe out the any sumdge or ink traces.
Then re install the catridges. give the print if it shows error press resume button continuosly. I think it will fix your problem.
If it is not solution is replace the catridge with new one.
