White dots are showing up on the screen. They are multiplying quickly. I was told to clean the filter but that did not help. The lamp is less than a year old. Nearest dealer is 2 states away. How can this problem be fixed.

How do I fix the white spots on the screen of my samsung model HL-S4286W. The white dots keep multiplying. Is there a repair manual for this that you know of?

It is not a user repairable fault. It can be repaired. Contact the authorized service center for Samsung.

My mitsubishi 65in tv has a lot of small white dots on the screen what causes this?

projection tvs can display white dots from the dust that is on the reflector mirror your lamp shines the picture on before it is reflected onto the front screen of your tv, one must be very careful when cleaning this, may be worth a service man doing it for you

My Acer projector P5260E started gaining tiny white spots that multiplied over time and now has almost completely covered 40% of my screen. I've installed a new lamp and still have the white spots. Not as...

I have the same problem. All of a sudden there are plenty white dots all around the screen. As if 1/3 of the pixels are burnt. It cannot be the lamp because it is still as bright as before. It must be the internal screen or whatever. The "Troubleshooting" section of the user manual does not mention such thing.

Flickering dots on Benq PB6200 projector.

it's not the lamp. if you've replaced the cords and still have the problem, reset the settings to factory default to make sure the resolution matches. if still not ok, there may be an issue with the main board.

Dots on projector screen.

if the dots are pixelated, you have an lcd issue (or if you have a dlp, it's a dmd issue). if it's not pixelated, try to focus the lens on them. if you can, it's dust. blow it out with canned air.
