Question about Computers & Internet
SOURCE: Dell Monitor keeps blowing fuses
well a fuse is a safety feature of all electrical devices ,the only suggestion i can give is to try a different power cable, if it is a detachable one,if that don't work,
you need to take it to an electrical repairer,as it has an obvious fault ,
it is not wise to play around with monitors ((CRT)Cathode Ray Tube) type, as they can retain 10,000 volts in some parts, too dangerous to suggest you enter the case.
if it is an old CRT monitor, it will not be worth the cost of repair.as a second hand one will only cost about AU$20.

SOURCE: I HAVE RELISYS TL766
Generally inside there is a fuse on the power board. This fuse is soldered in on the board. Before taking this apart and testing the fuse or replacing power board or inverter, test the power supply to make sure it is producing the correct voltage and amperage.
If the fields of the "Brick" are breaking down this could also prevent the unit from operating.

SOURCE: monitor fuse keeps blowing
There is definately a shorted component that causes the fuse to blow. Nomaly the ceremic capacitors are the cause of the problem. Check to see if there is visiual dark or burnt ceremic caps with label sameting like this "SCK 083" near the fuse area and change it. Hope it helps, cheers.
