Hello there!

Look for a VGA port or HDMI port from your laptop and your hd lcdtv. Then, just buy the correct cable and connect them.

How do i replace my pavilion dv9000ea notebook lcd screen

I would search for replacement parts on ebay. You can often find damaged computers sold as parts. Or you can take it somewhere to have it serviced.

    I have a 3 year old hp pavilion dv9000. For 3

Quite often this is caused by someone changing the display type. There should be a function key control that allows you to view just your lcd display, an external display, or both. Try and change that setting and see if it will resolve your issue.
