Question about Fuji Office Equipment & Supplies

I have a Fuji Xerox 525a colour laser printer which is giving a phantom paper jam message (error message indicates paper jam in cover E, but it is clear) What can I do to clear this message as it appears from a cold boot and of course disallows any activity

I beleive there are only two paper sensors for that machine.
1- in the tray there is a paper empty sensor which hangs down,
make sure you take out the tray and look for any pieces of paper stuck.
2- open right door and look as if your looking inside to where the paper is supposed to end up. The sensor is in that black unit, is there any paper there, can you see a black lever, if you pull on it gently and let go does it snap back in place?

    Remove the paper tray remove all papers check the tray it self for paper dust accumalation then you can check the paper picker sensor open the printer remove all the cartriges and check fro paper jam too then close the printer turn it off for 5 minutes unplug the power cable, reconnect the cable and replace the paper tray and then the cartridges. Should resolve the error.

Fuji Xerox cm205fw keep getting paper jam message


Just for any others with this question, I have been plagued with the same problem with my CP205 and CM205 printers, and discovered with the CM205 that it does still have a small scrap of paper left in the end of the paper path, near where it ejects. This can't be seen if you are looking inside the printer from the back door, hence anyone thinks it's clear, but if you open the main top door, by lifting up the control panel, and shine a torch down there, that's where you will probably find the small scrap of paper, which is stoping the printer from working. I managed to remove mine with a set of small tweezers. It would help if the machine could give you a more accurate error message, eg, lift the TOP door and remove paper jam.

Unable to close Cover E of Fuji Xerox c525a


For anyone smashing their head against the wall about this problem I finally found out what the issue is in regards to the C525A Cover E not closing.

If you run into this issue you need to look inside the printer where Cover E is, at the very bottom of this is a piece which looks like the rest of the printer but actually freely moves up and down on a swivel. Put it in the up position and as you go to close it it'll fall down again but this time Cover E will close. Not banging it shut or punching it, it all clicks back into place nicely.

My Phaser 8500 will not print and has error 08,045,43:75066 - Anyone know what this means?


The Xerox support site indicates there is a paper jam to the printer, so you should check the paper tray, front and exit cover for any jammed paper then power off and back on the printer. This error indicates that the paper path motor stalled. Clear the paper jam, power off the printer for 30 seconds and then turn it back on.

if there's no paper jammed then a sensor might be dirty, the printer has several sensor along the path of the paper to detect its flow.

Printer indicates paper jam every few pages, but there is no paper anywhere in the paper path. If I open the top cover and close it, it will print a few more pages, then indicate another paper jam


Paper jams can be tricky to solve. The paper is usually stuck inside the printer mechanism so even if there is no visible paper jam, you will still get the paper jam error. Try this:

1. Turn off your printer
2. Open all trays and remove any paper stuck there
3. Locate the button to open the printer, open it and remove any paper stuck there also.
4. Repeate the above step for all buttons that you can find to access the inside of the printer
5. Close all doors and put back all trays
6. Turn on your printer
