Question about Vizio L37 Television
I have two Vizio HDTV's, that have PIP. The instructions indicate that you can plug your "Composite" device in either the Component/AV1/S-Video yellow jack, or the AV2 connection on the side of the TV's. I plugged my camera into the Component/AV1/S-Video and when I pressed the PIP, I received a shaky black and white picture that faded in and out. I called Vizio and I was told to use the secondary AV2 instead. It worked (color and black and white)fine in that jack, but defeated the main purpose of viewing a standard TV program, while having the PIP display the composite/camera.
I have tried to get an answer from Vizio, but all are vague and they will not address the fact that a composite connection in Component/AV1/S-Video area, does not support composite connections.
Is there any way to convert the composite signal to something that the TV will recognize in the PIP mode, or is there any other work-around that I can use?
Would appreciate anything you can come up with.
Look in your owner's manual and you will see a list of input that can work with each other and ones that can't. If you don't have your service manual, you can go to vizio.com and get it there.
