Sounds like you have a conflict or support software. I have a Logitech and need Directx to drive it along with the logitech software. I think chatroulette uses Flashplayer and that may be a clue. Visit the Lifecam website and check what additional software you need. After filling in the webcam and OS have a look at the 'readme link for specific information regarding this model and your OS
hi! just a tip! hope this would help! try pressin the Fn+esc. if still doesnt work try to uninstall and re install the driver for the webcam. you can actually download it on consumersupport.lenovo.com
hope this helps! goodluck!
Probably has corrupt driver.
Try disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall
the software program. When the program asks you to connect the
camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud
It's not a driver problem based on the fact it works with other applications. Since it won't work with Messenger my strong suspicion is that's your culprit (Messenger)....even though it worked before.
Uninstall and try it again. When you uninstall make sure you delete any folders found in "Widows Explorer" that are under program files (not in Windows itself....or at least not at this point). Make sure you are using the latest version by the way since you are going to install it again anyway.
As to why it did not work you might want to check the Microsoft knowledge base...(there can be some sort of a conflict particularly if you updated software, downloaded patches, installed a new application, whatever).
If this doesn't work...run your antivirus and Spybot search and destroy on the entire drive. If you are not running an antivirus AVAST or AVG are both excellent (and free as is Spybot.)
Let me know if this does not work....odds are it will. Tango
