I cant send or recieve txt messages - LG Ally Cell Phone

Let's contact the service provider and ask them for the message centre number valid to you. If the messages can't be send it is the problem dealing with your service provider.So contact them as soon as possible.

Somce cell phone carriers can block outgoing texts, separately from incoming texts.. You might want to check with your cell company and see if they accidentally blocked your incoming.

Sounds like you are having problems with your internet/data service....

take the battery out of your phone. remove the SIM card. put the sim card back in and put the battery back on and then turn your phone back on. that should fix the problem

On my 6136 it won't do it due to a software bug. I wonder if it does the same thing for the same reason on a 6126.

maybe the memory that you're using to receive messages is your hard drive memory. I also encountered that problem and i can't relly open the messages that i recieve. Try to use the phone memory in receiving your messages..=)

Maybe you never activated the phone to receive txt messages. Call up sprint and activate incoming txt.

can u send txt messages?? if u cant, then i guess u should contact your service provider and make sure the SMS center number in use is the right one, provided by your service provider.

if the SMS center number is ok, then try deleting some messages from the phone and set the SMS memory on the memory card and see if that helps..

chk msg centre number,sent msg as text shud b there,msg validity shud be maximum,and reply via same centre shud be no in settings..chk these settings in ur message settings..
