Turn off keyboard click sound

Right click Sound Icon in Tray Notification Area, select mute, OR open Playback Device, select Sounds, adjust. If that's what you are referring to. All keyboards sort of click when you press the keys?

Keyboard makes a clicking sound when you type

I don't think there's a setting to turn on or to turn off the sound. If you've installed any additional software for keyboard, then I can't tell since you didn't mention anything except the keyboard sound. It would be helpful if at least you did mention the Operating system installed on your computer. First try with an external keyboard and check if it makes the clicking sound or not. There are many reasons, but most of all, it's related to motherboard. If you need further help from me, let me know with more details like the installed O.S, and the Laptop model and make.

If the system/laptop is under warranty, you better call them and let them check before you start working with it. Otherwise it'll void.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Clean the keyboard wiith a compressed air can, if that doesn't do the trick try a usb keyboard, if the external keyboard works well then you need to replace the laptops keyboard.

Spill soda on my laptop keyboard

Um the sounds would be the coke sticking to your keys i imagine, if you have any idea how, take the keyboard out and on a cloth spray some household bench cleaner and wipe over keyboard. Dont spray directly on the keyboard. If this fails, replace the keyboard. If you dont know how to, or you are afraid you may damage it, take it to a local IT tech to do all the cleaning for you

Vertical lines on screen

Everything can be fixed.

Try hooking up your laptop to an external monitor. If you get lines then the problem is the video card.

If not, it's the lcd, usually it is anyways.

Just replace the lcd and your problem is gone.

Best of luck!

Memory chip

i dont wish to upset you or anything like that, but remove and reinstall the memory chip ? memory refers to RAM, RAM is only removed and replaced if either faulty or more is installed.

The RAM is easily reachable, turn the laptop upside down, remove the power and the battery.
