My new battery is not charging what is the problem

If you have purchased a new battery for your laptop because the old one also refused to charge, the problem is likely the connection inside the laptop where the battery connects to the machine itself. Correcting this issue would mean some serious work, and I would not advise that you do this yourself, as it is easy to cause more problems while trying to correct that one. Your best option is to take it in and have it serviced by a professional, or at the very least have your new battery tested to see if it is simply defective.
