Pioneer avic n3 no sound from am/fm antenna has signal
Hi i recently went to best buy to get my avic n3 installed and the gps worked and the cd player, the only thing that wasnt working was the radio now signal , they called pioneer and they said to send it in what do you think?

chances are, you hooked up the wrong blue wire... the power antenna wire (blue) is hooked up to the amp turn on wire... so while the radio is on its sending the signal to the amp to play and when the cd player is on it shut off... swap the blue wires and everything should be dandy...
Hi check your navigation disc for dust, dirt, damage.
if disc is good, you might like to try running a dvd cleaner in the unit, the avic has a fan that sucks in dust from the car, and this coates the cd lens.
for your small problem buy an extended range antenna for the pioneer avic model that you have to extend the antenna range of the GPS. They're inexpensive look around you'll find one. I own one and it works great with my Avic S1 and no more dropped signals...................It connects to the back of your Gps through the small hole that is gold that is where you connect the antenna................
