Take so called data recovery program to handle the issue and see if you can grab some or all of the files back. you may have a try Wondershare Photo Recovery (also recover videos and music under both Windows and Mac OS).

Photo Video Recovery (if you are running Windows OS)
Mac Photo Video Recovery (for Apple Mac OS X)

You should take care - before your files are recovered, do not save more files to the device concerned(do not take more videos or photos) in case overwritten situation will happen.

SOURCE: JVC G-z-mg365bu video management file is broken

For broken files, everio will prompt you to recover once switched on. If you mean deleted by accident, you can use file recovery software like Final Data Enterprise and a lot more. Mostly can be recovered, sometimes 80% or 90% of your total recording. Good Luck

Hi

You do not say which operating system your computer is running.

Unfortunately read/write errors sometimes occur on these type of storage devices.

They are susceptible to water damage, shock damage, magnetism damage, static electricity damage, heat damage and physical damage.

There appears to have been some form of corruption that has affected the file format. Part of the storage area is not being seen by your operating system.

Hard disk management software such as Paragon Hard Drive Manager might enable you to make a copy of the data in the storage space that is not currently showing and then attempt to open the copy.

You can use Windows Software compatibility Manager to download software that converts raw files to other file formats that your computer can read.

Linux Diagnostics tools can often be effective in recovering lost data where windows based software fails.

Important data stored on ultra portable storage devices should always be backed up.

Try different Recovery Software (www.softpedia.com is a good source). Different programs can have different success rates.

Here are some to consider:

Active File Recovery
Card Recovery
GetDataBack for FAT
O&O DiskRecovery
Smart Flash Recovery
Recover My Files

I hope this helps.

Good luck.

Read the table of requirements thatappears. Depending on the type of discs you use, more or less may beneeded; if you use ordinary CDs, Recovery Manager will require more compared tofewer discs if DVDs are used.
Insert your first blank disc, havingmade sure it is fully labeled, such as "Recovery Disc 01" or"Recovery Disc 1 of 2". The optical drive of your computerwill have automatically opened. If not, open manually. Close the optical driveand click Next.
Understand and confirm you want to gothrough with the operation using the type of disc you have inserted by clickingNext.
Wait while Recovery Manager now createsthe first disc. This may take 20-40 minutes as it collects the files, writes the files and verifies the files to disc.

How can i restore my hp pavilion 7955 computer to factory settings

The Recovery Manager program makes it possible to restore your laptop to its settings as of a previous date or restore your computer to its original factory settings, which will erase all of your installed programs and personal data. Using the recovery partition allows you to bypass the hassle of keeping track of recovery discs, which could be damaged in storage, rendering them useless when you need them.

Instructions

Access Recovery Manager During Windows Startup
  1. 1 Turn on or restart your HP Pavilion laptop.
  2. 2 Press "F11" when the "Press <F11> for recovery" message appears during the HP Pavilion boot process.
  3. 3 Select "Recovery Manager" from your list of recovery options and press "Enter." The Recovery Manger program will open on your screen, and you can begin the recovery process.
    Access Recovery Manager Within Windows
  4. 1 Click the "Start" icon or "Start" button in the lower left corner of your Windows home screen.
  5. 2 Click "All Programs" and then "Recovery Manager."
  6. 3 Click "Recovery Manager" again to open the Recovery Manager program on your HP Pavilion laptop.
