Hi I got this sansa mp3 player as a gift last november. Last month, when I was listening to a song, this player hung. I read some articles posted in this site & tried to update the firmware, but it failed. This is the exe file that I downloaded. c100_1.0.005a_FirmwareUtility
Still I am not able to fix this. Can you please help me to fix this?

hi, your sansa m259 mp3 player does not support playing video songs(.wmv).You can listen to the following supported audio files only (.wma or .mp3) in your player. If you want to listen to video songs, try finding the software which converts video files to audio files, convert them and you can listen. Google it up to find numerous software.Hope you are clear now. Please rate my solution as helpful.
I plug mine into the usb port . then i open the file where the folder says music. in the music folder i remove or delete files from it. then i add copies of new ones. that's the only way i can add music to mine because mine won't form at it with the converter. the converter says its the wrong format.but this way works fine for me. the copes i add are mp3 media player or quick time
