Generic problem for all TV Combos

Can,t get any sound

i have no sounds on regular cable tv but when i used my dvd or other sources they have sounds.. but once switch to cable tv then theres no sound. it was working before and nothing was change. i check the volume, mute, internal speaker on etc...

WizHi Jcrc, thanks for your question.
The most likely causes of no sound are:
The mute is turned on
Internal speakers are turned off
The audio is turned down.
The cable for video is hooked up but the audoio (red and white cables) are not.
