Question about Canon EOS 400D / Rebel XTi Digital Camera
I just got a new canon eos digital rebel xti. I got a 4gb CF card (promaster). I put it in the camera and began taking pictures. When I went to look at the pictures I had taken via the play button some of the pictures did not show up, instead ther was a question mark in there place. The words Corrupted Data also showed up. I am frustrated and do not know if it is the camera or the CF card. I'm afraid that if I take any more pictures and they are precious ones I may lose them. Can anyone help???
Have you formated the card

There have been several reports of CF cards that work with all cameras, except the Rebel XTi. It depends on the actual manufacturer of the card. Canon made a change mid-production that affected the data saving. Try another brand of card & you should not have that problem any more.
