Question about Karcher 2500 PSI Pressure Washer
I have a: Coleman Powermate® 2400 PSI 5.5HP Pressure Washer Item #6212 http://www.toolsnow.com/browse.cfm/4,2219.html -recenly it would not put out any pressure. When running it still worked but only put out regular hose pressure as if it was not pumping it. It worked the day before...but the next morning...no pressure. I heard of fixes for other pressure washers that involves taking out a part and greasing it with some kind of white grease that fixes the same problem on this, but of course, mines not like the other oones and i have no clue as to what it is. I apptrciate any help! Thanks
Your pressure relief valve is stuck open. i know that may sound too simple but it depends on if you use a cleaner with the water when your using it , not flushing with clean water after use can cause the housing of the aluminum housing of the relief valve to corrode. the valve can't move back and forth as it should because the o ring won't slide.
