I just forgot my password and all security question i cant access my yahoo messenger but my friend did he have password how can i change it ....................... i don't put alternate e-mail id so that's why i cant reset it plz help me !!!

Here's how to change it:

1. Go to your Yahoo Account Info page.
2. Enter your Yahoo ID and password.
3. Under "Sign-In and Security," click Change your password.
4. In the fields provided, enter:
   • Current password
   • New password (use a secure, strong password).
5. Click Save.

Can you access Yahoo email ( if you had cookie set for password ) ? if Yes, go to account profile and change the password. use the same new password for Yahoo Messenger.

You might be forget your password, friend. If you forgot your password...ask it from yahoo by clicking the forgot password for them to send to you the new password

You need to report that to YAHOO. tell them you forgot your password and you will be told to answer some security questions and you would be told to change your password. please try that. thanks

If you are not able to sign on to your yahoo messenger then follow these steps to fix it:-

Step 1. Are you able able to log on to yahoo mail by going into www.yahoo.com and then singing on to your yahoo mail account

If you are able to access your yahoo mail that means the problem with yahoo messenger.

then try uninstalling and reinstalling yahoo messenger and it will work.

Step 2. If you are not able to access Your yahoo emails that means its not accepting your password , which likely can be a cause that you have forgot your password or somebody hacked your yahoo password.

Step 3. Immediately now try to retrieve you yahoo password by going into forgot password section in yahoo account below sign in screen. It ask you the security question and if you are able to give correct answer then you can retrieve your yahoo password or you can change it.ou

Step 4. if yahoo at&t is your ISP then you can also call them to reset your password.

my password doesn't work and i can't remember my security answer to the questions

Hi,
you need to login to login page of yahoo mail and click on I can't access my account
under user ID and password box, then select forgot the password and
click on next, then enter your yahoo ID and enter the code which would blink there
and click on next and then it would ask you 2 security questions so click on forgot the answers and you need to give your alternate email ID there and you will get an email in your account from where you can reset the password for yahoo mail ID.

Try creating a new account, or try the forgot password link.
