2003 Frigidaire FRS26BH6CBO Side By Side Problem

My Frigidaire Side by Side Regerator, Model FRS26BH6CBO stopped working 2 days ago. I noticed some water on the floor in front of the refrigerator and opened it up to see that everything in the freezer was unthawed and no longer freezing. I opened the refrigerator side and it was no longer cooling. I have no idea what the problem is. Please Help!

Same thing happended to me. Nothing seems to happen when I adjust the refrigeraor knob onthe upper left of the refrigerator side. Is there a separate fan onthat side and how do you get at it. Nothing but problems with this model (the ice cube maker hasn't stopped leaking since I bought the unit).

Any help out there? Happy 4th of July to everyone.

DEFROST PROBABLY SET TO AUTOMATIC..NEEDS TO BE REPLACED THEN ALL WILL BE WELL

After 11 years, my Frigidaire window unit has stopped blowing cold air. On the first startup 3 days ago, it blew cold air after 5 min. Then 2 days ago it blew cold air after 10 min. Today no cold air.

Make sure that the cooling coils are clean. Also that the cooling fans are working. It may have lost it's treon and it is time to buy a new one.

FRS26R4CB0-Freezer not freezing and Fridge not getting Cool

Hi Candi,

I don't know this model but most friges are the same,
Check on the bottom back, there should be a radiator with a small fan
installed.

If the fan is not working this maybe your problem,
It is not colling the gas.

You also may have a gas leak or the gas compressor is not working
or starting to work because of a faulty capcacitor.

Could be that the freezer is icing up stopping the air flow coming up into your fridge, try switching it off for at least 12 hours with the freezer door open.

I have a frigidaire refrigerator model #FRS6R5ESBC that stopped cooling. I replaced start relay on compressor and discovered that defrost control was burnt out replaced it also. now in less than 3 days...

Had one a couple years ago did the same thing. Found the compressor was going bad and was pulling too many amps thru the control. Ended up buying a new frig.

Frigidaire refrigerator is warm on top of frig and freezer but fine on the bottom of both.

i suspect the fan is not working. take the back panel off inside the freezer and check that the fan is free to rotate, check for continuity thro the fan motor and check you have power to the fan

10 yr old Frigidaire ice maker stopped making ice

try forcing the cycle by manually triggering the cycle a few times. Sometimes you can detach the trip arm or turn the tray by hand by disconnecting it from the gear. There may have been a switch bumped to turn it off or the switch somehow jammed. Maybe check for freeze-up. If there is water in it, it's going somewhere.

check to make sure the fill tube is not plugged with ice if it is not then i would guess the valve is shot
