No Sound!!!!

That is called a TV, DVD combo. You either need the 6 legged sound IC chip replaced or the tuner needs a resolder on a cold solder joint inside it. (i've done this a few times, with a large magnefying glass)

Hello. I have my HK connected to a new Sony TV. I see the video pic but hear no sound. I've made sure the TV speakers are on. Not sure what the problem is. Thanks

hi,
Check the connections you have made between the tv and dvd player, whether you have connected the audio output of the dvd player to your tv.
if its ok the go the system setup of you dvd player and then go to the Audio setup.
In the audio setup select digital output and make it to PCM.
exit menu and test
ok

Toshiba HDTV + SONY PLAYSTATION 3 + SONY Home Theatre DAVHDX265

I have looked up the infomation on your TV I noticed that your TV has two HDMI input plugs. Since your SONY BRAVIA is hooked up to one port, you need to buy another HDMI cable for your PS3. On your tv remote you should have an option to switch from video 1 to video 2 so then you can switch from the SONY BRAVIA to the PS3 the problem is you will only hear your PS3 Sound from you TV. If you want to hear your PS3 sound from your SONY BRAVIA you need to buy an optical cable (also called TOSLINK) to connect from your PS3 to the SONY BRAVIA.

Hope that helps!

Trouble Loading & Not Registering To TV

I can't say 100% but it sounds similar to the problem I had with the same model . The sleep mode in the on/off switch had gone bad and a new switch fixed the problem. It was about $42 to rtepair at my local electronics repair shop. Hope this helps.

No audio

yeah sometimes we all get fustrated with stuff like that, the trick is not to hit the thing with a hammer,,

any way ensure that yougot the cables connected propperly in the L/R audio output from the dvd player (RED AND WHITE its alo labeled) and connect it to the in in the tv..

check your player settings (audio settings and and check your tv audio settings to ensure they match) some HDTV's only use 5.1 or higher

if your dvd remote got a volume controll on it ensure the u\volume is all the way up and that it isnt muted.

try your player on a next tv to ensure its working , if it is the problem is with your settings as stated above
