I have never owned an mp3 so i don't know what to do first. i want to put some music on it, but i have never downloaded music before on my computer. What download sites are best? can i download straight to my device, or do i have to download on computer first, then transfer to my device or what. plus i dont even have a credit card, but i do have a $25.00 visa giftcard, will that work? and do i need to save the little sticker strip that came in the package. is it important?

Hi, With your player you have a patch cord. One end goes in your computer (USB) the other you know. Now you must have a program that you use to download music. Or maybe you can use your own CD's to play.
I use windows media player or you can download itunes player witch ever works for your mp3 player. Good luck.

Downloading Music to your MP3 Player

It depends on your mp3 player. If it supports the mp4 format, than it should work. You can check your user guide or google to check if it can.If it doesn't, you can download a converter from cnet.download.com (no viruses.... some have lots of them). ALL mp3 players take mp3 format (because it's an "mp3" player), and this converts it to mp3.

 

 

 

To put it in simpler terms,you may need to change the music in order to play it on your mp3 player, so this will let you do that.

if its an ipod you need to download itunes from itunes.com if not then you can prob use windows media player. if you cant figure out how to put music in these shells then you need to search for all you music which you can do in the search icon in start. then click on search for music. then drag all that music in you my music folder or make a folder of your own and highlight all the music you want and drag it to the specified folder. when all the music is in the folder drag the folder onto the itunes or windows media icon and the music will be routed to the music player. from the simply make a playlist or sync all to put the music onto your mp3 player. its the best i could do considering you didnt specify what kind of mp3 player it is.

Try downloading the Rhapsody Real player app, and import your Itunes file to the Rhapsody library. The files will be converted and will be able to be transferred to your mp3.
