Try asking for assistance through samsung Customer Service Center. Every manufacturer has a service center, try going there or try emailing them for information.

Call the service provider helpline, have in hand your personal details, client number, and the sim card, explain the situation to them and they will provide you the original PIN code. If you changed the original PIN the only solution is buying a new SIM card. Let me know about any changes.

change that flat cable which is conected lcd to mother board.

try a new battery if not working after that...then you need to take it into a service center to have them check it for you.

there is no way to do it except taking it all apart, sorry!

judging from experience although with a sony ericsson, the usual diagnosis for that problem would be the earpiece of your d840. There simply could've been a loose connection with it.
