Try charging it by usb and if everything is fine when u have direct power source to it but unplugged you have nothing it will be a battery issue more than likely. I posted a question on how to change the battery in mine aswell, maybe an answer will help both of us out.

Samsung has a new version of Media Studio 5 available for download at its Web site. It isn't the exact model version, but seems to work. http://www.samsung.com/us/support/download/supportDown.do?group=&type=&subtype=&model_nm=YP-T9BQB&language=&cate_type=all&dType=D&mType=SW&vType=L&prd_ia_cd=03040200&disp_nm=YP-T9BQB
I had the exact same problem with my mp3 a couple days ago and someone posted a solution for it. U can reset ur mp3 by pressing the menu button and the A/B button at the same time, hold that for a few seconds and try to turn it on again. It actually works!!!
