Nokia 6300 you have to reinstall the bluetooth device in the nokia servies center.and then you can receive dates from other phones.[or] copy the datas to pc and formet the memorycard........

Its because your phone memory is running low and when you receive files via bluetooth it comes via message which by default uses phone memory. To solve this issue got to messages and click options button then go to settings > others and under Others menu change the Memory in use to Memory card from Phone memory and you will be able to receive files via bluetooth.

if you are paired correctly with the person who is blue toothing you than make sure that you have enough memory for what ever it is they are bluetoothing you.

If the file or files are big check that you have enough memory left and that they leave thier phone connected to yours until the download is complete.

Hey there! Sorry about that.
Well, you'll have to follow these instructions;
  • Menu
  • Settings
  • And go to the last option
  • And press "Reset Factory Settings"
This option will not affect your files, and personal contacts, whatsoever, it should then work. Also, check that the bluetooth fail is not from the other device.

hey hi...may b i can solve ur problm...
1st open d media application,then lighlight the picture folder by putting the cursor on it.next click on the menu of the picture folder.....there u will find a option "receive through bluetooth".click on that.ucan receive ur files nw.
(Note:-u mst 1st swith on ur bluetooth and must have paired wid the device 4rm which u wish to receive data)
only after clicking on the "receive through bluetooth" the data must b send 2 the blackberry.....

Operation failed when receiving a file via bluetooth
don't worry. just make a backup of your personal data such as songs, images, games that are in the memory card. save that backup in your pc or if a have required space in your cell so save that backup there. now formate your memory card. after that replace all your data and then try receiving again. it will work, for sure.

While recieving data from other mobile it shows a message as operation failed.
The memory in your phone or memory card may be full, hence you cannot receive any more data; either you or the other party may have accidentally cancelled the transfer of the data; or if they are sending a file (picture, song etc) via bluetooth and THEY have a password set on their phone and they do not put the password into YOUR phone to allow you to receive the data, then it will cancel the sending of the data.
