My kyocera KM 1815 keeps saying "paper jam 00 open left cover and remove paper jam but there is no jam

Hi

Check all the paper movement from the tray, left or right cover, front cover, if so then remove jammed paper. Otherwise the paper sensor spring guide missing or fell off from its original position. Check carefully where the sensor locate. paper sensors detect all the paper movement in the machine during copying or printing, so locate the place in the machine which the paper usually jammed, see the screen of the machine, it will locate the place where the paper jammed mostly. Sensor not return to it original position that is why ( remove paper jam keeps blinking)

The roller on the feed tray keeps feeding through eventhough there is no paper there and the panel keeps saying there is a jam

If it doesn't do this with paper in the tray, it's a stuck paper present sensor flag.
If the machine thinks there's paper there, it tries to feed. Since paper doesn't make it to the timing sensor, it shows a jam.
Check for a stuck flag above where the leading edge of paper would be with the cassette inserted.

My fax machine keeps saying there is a paper jam.

look on the bottom of your drum unit. there is a sensor opening that might have a tiny piece of paper in it, not allowing the sensor flag to reset. if thats not it, closely inspect behind rear door.

Brother fax machine Fax-2820 MFC-7225N

Hi. Open the document control panel and look in with a flashlight and see if the jam switch is stuck. also look for a small piece of paper that might be stuck in there. The jam is in where you put documents in to fax out. Lawrence

XEROX TELECOPIER 7024

Does it say clear jam immediatly or does it start to run then declare a jam?
If it starts then tells you to clear a jam and no paper is in the machine, your feed rollers are shot. Smooth like trying to drive a car on ice.
If it says that all the time, no attempt to feed then you have a sensor either dirty, knocked out of place or something stuck on a sensor.
Either in the paper path or in the scanner.
