has it worked before? if yes, try to power cycle everything. turn off everyhting then turn on the modem first, then the router, then the computer/s.
if you have power cycled everything already and you still can't access the internet using the router,
- access the router's setup page by logging to
http://192.168.1.1 (leave the username blank and the default password is "admin")
- if you're using a cable connection, set the connection type to "automatic configuration - dhcp" and enable the mac address clone
- if you're using a dsl connection and you have a username and password from your isp, set the connection type to "pppoe" then enter the complete username (ex.
username@comcast.net) and password given by your isp.
- check the "status" tab of the router and see if there's an internet ip and dns, if so, you should be able to connect to the internet
