I have a PLTV-26, 26" Ligquid Crystal Display. You can call me on 617-522-8828. The adapter is a very small part that is needed by the Cable TV connection to the TV.

I have a Bose Cinemate II and an NTSC/PAL AVOL television. I am in Germany. I want to connect the audio, but the TV only has a VGA slot, and I can't figure out how to get them together.

tv model number? does the tv has Audio Out. from tv out to bose input. could be optical or rca type whichever is available.
i think you can use the headphone out but you might need an adapter plug (male, sized to fit) then splits into two male rca plugs (left & right) which will be plug into the bose audio inputs.
if the bose has coax input (digital), better use this.

How do I hook up a dvd player to a sansui tvm1915c when my dvd player has only rca outlets and the tv only has one coax outlet?

Coax to RCA? Not possible considering coax cable provides sound and audio and RCA jacks split them as 3 different outputs. The only way to Solve this would be to get a converter not adaptor. You're gonna have to convert coax signal into digital. You may be able to get away with a converter for the digital antennas they have now that your tv requires to get local channels. Perhaps if you can go red white and yellow RCA into the converter then coax out to the tv or something around those lines, however between me and you it will cost the exact same to buy a converter as it will to buy a 5 dollar TV on Craigslist that already has these settings and inputs built into the TV. People feel bad for throwing out a tv that still works, but it's very common, maybe even for free off craiglist . Good luck!

How do I get the correctly connect from the DVD player to the TV set?

It depends on your TV's available inputs. If your TV has an HDMI port, you'll get the audio and HD video to your set with one cable if you invest in an HDMI cable; purchase the cable online (you don't need to pay $$$$ for the cable). Stores that specialize in cables will have the best picture. Press the HDMI select button on your remote to go through the resolution options for the DVD player. (see page 14 of the manual
If your TV doesn't have an HDMI port, check for component video. This will also give an HD picture to the TV. You'll need cables for the 2 RCA audio and 3 RCA (Red, blue, green) video plugs (or one cable with 5 RCA plugs) on each end of the cable. The mega-cables though can be a bit more difficult to plug in. Make sure that the colors match. (Some TVs use an adapter that consolidate the cable connection at the TV. You still need to match the colors at the adapter.)

If your TV only has composite in, you'll have an SD signal at the TV. This is the cable with one RCA plug (yellow) for video and the 2 RCA plugs (red and white) for audio. This cable is often included with the DVD player.
If your TV only has a coax connection (OTA tuner or analog cable), you'll need a Composite to RF converter. These used to be available at Radio Shack and can still be found online as well.
If some countries, the TV might have a SCART port. You can find a composite to SCART adapter.
The manual is available from Toshiba here: http://support.toshiba.com/support/modelHome?freeText=2805086 . Select the Manuals and Specs tab. The file is a PDF; so you will need Adobe Reader or a similar program to read the file.

I hope this helps. If you need additional assistance, please add a comment with details of your TV.

Cindy Wells
(if your TV has an SD (480i) resolution, you probably only have the composite and coax inputs.)

Where is the cable connection on my tv

There are usually two types of cables that connect to your tv-- coax and RCA. Cable usually uses the coax style, but some modern tvs don't have a coaxial input, which means they probably have RCA jacks. Therefore, you will probably have to find an RF modulator or the like that has a coax cable "Cable" input and RCA (yellow, white, and red plugs) output. These should be able to connect your tv to cable. I hope this helps, and good luck! Sincerely, Der Strom

Need the rca remote code for a protron pltv-32

Afraid, you must purchase a new clicker. this is counterfeit brand, with no codes for universal remotes. If you can't get it at manufactures, check all available universal remotes at department stores for supporting this "brand". Sorry, didn't have any good experience of getting parts for "Protron".
Good luck,

Trying to hook up "back-up camera" which only has a coax output jack. Can I hook it directly into "ANT" jack or do I have to go through a demodulator and reduce to an RCA and then plug into V1 jack?

I would be interested to know the model number of the camera. "Coax" jacks are usually only used for tuners. It is more possible that it is a BNC connection. If it truly is coax than they may have used the coax jack because an RCA style plug would come unplugged too easily while driving.
Just get an F (male or female depending on the connection) to RCA (female) adapter and an RCA cable and plug it into any composite (yellow) video input.
If it is BNC than get a BNC to RCA adapter.

Take the part into Radio Shack and they will have the right adapter.

CABLE JACK NEEDED

You can try using an rf modulator to convert the coax signal into one that you connect to the tv using RCA jacks. I believe that model has one source on it for AV. Most stores carry these and they are relatively inexpensive.

2600 atari

To connect your Atari to your TV, you'll need to get a "phono to f" adapter. These are available at RadioShack (part no. 278-255) for about $5.00 This adapter takes the phono plug from the Atari and changes it to a standard coaxial adapter. If your HD TV doesn't have an input for standard cable wires, you'll need to get yourself an RF modulator to switch the coax to RCA. If you have an old VCR with an unused cable input, that will work as well.

Protron DVD REcorder

The coax output is just a passthrough. You need to go to the TV through the RCA output even if you have to go through a VCR or other component.
