Question about Akai Projection Televisions
Going to have to give a general anwer to this because without a model number were just guessing, remove the back and see if you have a curcuit board with two large Ic name STK392-040 on it, this may be mounted to the CRT case, if you do unplug the conector on the extream left. The set may turn on it will have a distorted pix but thats not why we do this what you are looking for is A pink, green or red line that runs up and down tward the center of the screen, if there IS one, youre done. Because if there IS this means when the convergance faild it burned these lines int the CRT's and they will have to be replaced. this usaly will cost more than replacing the set. Now if you do not have these lines and the set does turn on simply replace that board you unpluged with part # BP95-00142p from www.vancebaldwin.com
