Magic Chef Top Freezer Refrigerator

Ice maker squirting too much water

Brand new ice maker installed in a magic cheif older refridg freezer on top, hooked everything up and it puts too much water , over flowing in the freezer, still not dumping ice. Any suggestions?
I have the same problem.
