Own a Philips 14PV415/07 TV/Video unit (well 2 actually) both have the same fault, as soon as you switch the unit on, it comes up with EJECT T in the left hand corner, then switches off within 20secs tops. Neither unit has a tape jammed in the machine. Any pointers please

Actually this type of unit requires "intilization signal" of tape mechanism to remain power on. When ever it has problem in mechanism, it shuts down as safty precaution. Please check its loading, eject mechanism might be dirty or need little lubricant for smooth running. Kindly replace loading belts if found crackes on it.

I have a 32md357 magnavox tv. a dvd disk is stuck in TV dvd player. How do I remove it?

Hello

Please try turning off the tv... wait about 30 seconds, PRESS AND HOLD THE EJECT BUTTON then turn the tv back on again. You can let up on the eject button as soon as it starts to spit out your dvd. This is a standard way to remove disks.

I hope this helps

Cant eject my disc

Dear! It is the fault about belt of a CD/ DVD Rom. You can remove this fault if you can change the belt that is inside the CD/ DVD Rom. And if you want to eject your disk as soon as possible? Use a pin and put inside the very small hole of CD/ DVD Rom and press under your controle slowly. Your disk will open.
Thank you.

Ps3 Eject Fault

Hello.
I would call Sony. This problem is due to a faulty Blu-Ray drive, dust or abuse. When the optic sensor is faulty or dusty it can not tell if there is a disc inside the unit or not. So the blue light will flaash and you will hear multiple beeps, but the disc will not come out. Without actually testing the unit myself, it's very hard to diagnose the exact problem. But Sony should fix it for you. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Likely the tape sensor switch is faulty. Normally it is located on beneath the mechanism towards the front where the tape goes in. It is a micro-switch that is actually soldered to the main PCB. You have to remove the main board and desolder the switch. You might want to try replacing the switch since with over usage (tape in/out countless times) it may have worn out.

Note that VCR servos are such that if an event in the mechanism does not occur within a given frame of time the unit will shut down.

Dispays End Of Tape/Eject symbol

The tape end sensor, or record sensor has a fault, or the electronics that reads the sensors has a fault. This could be dirt on them, or an actual failure of some type. Without dissassembly and proper troubleshooting, speculation would only be a guess.

The service diagnostics do not show every possible type of failure that can occur in the camera. It only shows the main areas.

Mecha error

Mecha error is a Mechanical Error. This means that this is an actual physical malfunction of the unit. Sometimes pressing the reset button can realign some of the mechanics but most often this is a problem that requires to be serviced.
